1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Love Legend ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data of users of the lovelegend.online website ("Website").

By using the Website, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, please do not use the Website.

2. Age Restriction

The Website is intended for users aged 18 and older (18+). Use of the Website by persons under 18 years of age is strictly prohibited. By registering on the Website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

3. Information We Collect

When you use the Website, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

• Registration via VK ID or Yandex ID (previously also Google): name, email address, unique user identifier in the respective service; registration by email: email address;
• Payment information: transaction history (we do not have access to your banking details — payment processing is handled by T-Bank (JSC «TBank») and ROBOKASSA LLC);
• Usage data: interaction history with characters, selected stories, feature usage statistics;
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, cookies, device information; the country is derived from the IP address only to show available payment methods (DB-IP database, db-ip.com, CC BY 4.0 license; the lookup runs on our servers, the IP address is not sent to DB-IP);
• Analytics data: data from Yandex.Metrica and hosting analytics for Website improvement.
• Photos uploaded by the user: only for the paid «Our Photo» service and only on the user's initiative — see section 3.1.
• The user's voice: only for voice input of a message and during a call with a character, when the user taps the microphone or call button — see section 3.2.

3.1. Photos Uploaded for the «Our Photo» Service

The «Our Photo» service creates an image showing the user together with a chosen character. To do this, the user uploads their own photo on their own initiative. The following rules apply to such photos:

• the photo is used once — solely to create the requested image;
• the original photo is not stored on the Operator's servers; only its checksum (hash) is kept, from which the image cannot be reconstructed;
• to create the image, the photo is transferred to an image processing service engaged by the Operator, including one located outside the Russian Federation;
• the photo is not used for facial recognition or identification, is not shared with third parties for other purposes, and is not used to train models on the Operator's initiative;
• the resulting image is stored in the user's personal collection and is available via a personal link that the user may share at their discretion;
• the user may delete the resulting image at any time — the file is removed with it and the personal link stops working.

By uploading a photo, the user confirms that it depicts the user themselves or that the depicted person has consented to such processing. Uploading photos of minors or images of third parties without their consent is not permitted.

3.2. Voice Input and Calls

• voice recording starts only on the user's action (the microphone button or a call with a character) and is used solely to convert speech to text;
• speech recognition runs on a server used by the Operator in the Russian Federation; the audio recording is deleted immediately after recognition and is not stored;
• only technical information is kept (time, duration and the recognition result — without the text of the speech);
• the recognized text is used as the user's message in the chat or call; with voice input the text first appears in the message field and is sent only if the user sends it;
• the voice is not used to identify the user, is not shared with third parties and is not used to train models.

4. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

1. Providing access to Website features and services;
2. User identification and account management;
3. Payment processing and fulfilling financial obligations;
4. Content personalization and improving user experience;
5. Sending notifications related to Website usage;
6. Technical support;
7. Website usage analysis and improvement;
8. Running creative contests for authors (section 4.1);
9. Compliance with applicable laws;
10. Protection of our rights and legitimate interests.

4.1. Contests for Authors

The Operator runs creative contests for authors: accepts entries, counts reading metrics of the works, determines and rewards the winners and publishes the results. The terms of each contest are set out in its rules published on the contest page.

• Participants. The data, purposes and retention periods are set out in a separate consent to personal data processing given when submitting an entry. A pen name and information about the work are published only under a separate consent to dissemination.
• Readers. To count reading metrics and prevent artificial inflation, we use reading information (which chapters were opened and read, reading time) and the IP address and browser information recorded when a book is first opened. This information is not disclosed to participants or third parties: an author sees only aggregated statistics for their work, without data about individual readers.
• Legal basis. For participants — consent and performance of a contract; for readers — performance of the user agreement and the Operator's legitimate interest in running the contest without distorted results (Art. 6(1)(1), (5) and (7) of Federal Law No. 152-FZ).
• Retention of readers' IP addresses and browser information — no longer than one year after the results of the contest in which the book took part are announced; if the book did not take part in a contest — no longer than one year from collection.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data based on:

• Your consent;
• Performance of a contract to which you are a party;
• Compliance with legal obligations;
• Our legitimate interests (improving services, preventing fraud).

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction:

• Data encryption via HTTPS/SSL protocol;
• Access to personal data is limited to authorized personnel only;
• Regular data backups;
• Use of secure servers and modern security tools;
• Payment data is processed exclusively through the payment services T-Bank (JSC «TBank») and ROBOKASSA LLC in compliance with PCI DSS standards.

7. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to third parties without your consent, except in the following cases:

• T-Bank (JSC «TBank») — for payment processing;
• ROBOKASSA LLC — for accepting payments by cards issued by foreign banks and sending fiscal receipts;
• VK (VK ID) and Yandex (Yandex ID) — for user authentication (previously also Google);
• Yandex — for analytics through Yandex.Metrica;
• Reg.ru — our hosting provider;
• YouTube (Google) — for publishing marketing videos on content creators' YouTube channels. We use YouTube API Services to upload promotional content. By using our service, you also agree to be bound by YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy;
• Legal requirements — when required by law (court orders, law enforcement requests).

All third parties receiving access to personal data are required to maintain confidentiality and ensure data protection.

8. Cookies and Analytics

The Website uses cookies to ensure functionality and improve user experience.

What are cookies? Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit the Website.

We use cookies for:

• Maintaining your login session;
• Remembering your settings and preferences;
• Collecting visit statistics through Yandex.Metrica;
• Improving Website functionality and performance.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may limit access to some Website features.

9. Data Storage

Personal data is stored on servers located in the Russian Federation (hosting provider Reg.ru).

Data retention periods:

• Active account data — throughout the period of Website use;
• After account deletion — data is deleted within 30 days;
• Payment data is stored for 5 years in accordance with tax legislation requirements.

• Request correction, update, or deletion of your personal data;
